This and That

Good afternoon friends and happy Monday!!

It's been a while since I've done a 'This and That' post so I thought I would fill you in on what we've been up to along with mentioning some other random things that are on my mind!

// We put up our little flocked tree in the kids playroom this weekend and I just love it!  We went with the 6ft because I didn't want it taking up too much room, but it also comes in a 7.5 foot as well.  All of the ornaments on this tree are all the Hallmark ornaments that Todd and I have exchanged with each other over the last 14 years along with some other sweet, handmade ornaments that Carson and Taylor made so this makes me love this tree even more.

// I feel like my belly has almost doubled in size over the last couple of weeks!  I am sure it really hasn't, but man, it certainly feels like it has.  So with that said, I am finding myself going for all things comfy and cozy in my closet.  And for any of my pregnant mamas, I can't recommend these $14 fleece lined leggings enough!  And this terry cotton v-neck sweatshirt that I now own in three colors has been worn more than I care to admit...ha!

// I am SO proud of this little lady and how hard she works in her gymnastics class.  She is so strong and coordinated, and I really hope gymnastics is something she ends up sticking with because I think this is a sport she will excel in.  I had a lot of you asking about Taylor's leotard on Instragram.  You can find it here, along with all my other favorite Amazon clothing finds for her.  You can find her faux fur bow boots you can here

Todd and I went on a much needed date night this past Saturday evening.  I say much needed because we hadn't had one in almost three weeks, so needless to say, we were both ready to get out of the house and enjoy a nice quiet dinner!  And I'm sorry this is the only picture I took, but the lighting was really dark and I was way too busy stuffing my face...ha!  We ended up going downtown to Melfi's because I was really craving Italian and had heard great things about this place.  While Todd and I both truly enjoyed everything we ordered, nothing was knock your socks off delicious and for the amount of food and the size of their wine pour it's a little pricey.

What I Wore

Seriously can't get enough of this soft chenille stripe sweater

// The pups both got much a much needed bath on Saturday and it was so nice having them smell good so we could snuggle them on the couches.  A few of you asked what shampoo we used and we use this soothing dog shampoo...it smells SO good!!!

/ / These suede statment earrings are a holiday MUST HAVE!!  They are super super lightweight and look gorgeous on!

And last, Taylor's closet is currently being installed.  For any of you guys that are local, the woodworker that has done all of our built-ins and closets is named Chewy and his number is (843)640-1037.  He is truly amazing and I can't say enough wonderful things about all the custom work he's done in our home.

And I know I'm going to get a bunch of questions about the rods and hardware I'm using so I thought I would make it easy and just link it all up right here.
