Mother's Day Gift Guide

How gorgeous is this personalized rose gold necklace?!?  The price point is great and you can also choose sterling silver, yellow gold, or gold plated silver.

Y'all know I swear by this brand of pajamas, and I am obsessed with this new sleeveless version!

Yes to the fiddle leaf fig tree!!  And how cool is it that this one comes with a beautiful textured white planter.

After years of hearing rave reviews over Beautycounter, I finally decided to give them a try, and you guys, I am seriously blown away by everything I've tried so far.  But for now, this is definitely holding strong in my top three from their skincare line.

Hands down the best summer robe EVER!!  I have this exact robe, and I seriously wear it every single morning/day after my shower.  It's perfect for blow drying your hair because it's thin enough (while still giving full coverage) that you don't sweat to death.

This bag would be perfect to fill with some fun summer essentials and gift it for Mother's Day!  I am thinking this pretty round beach blanket, my new favorite glow sunscreen, and these awesome $21 polarized sunglasses!

How pretty is this planter!?!  I love the wooden stand, and I think it would be so fun to gift with this indoor cherry plant

Marble travel bags...yes and yes!  Added bonus, these have a solid 5 star review and the entire set is only $16!!!

Last, but not least, you guys know I had to include a good candle.  There's nothing better than a clean house and burning your favorite candle.  I've smelt this scent before and it's amazing!

This and That

// I am sure a lot of you have already seen on Instastories, but for those of you who don't use that or who may have missed my stories, meet the new members of our family Jorge and Dansby.  They are 10 week old German Shepherd / Lab mix and these two brothers may just be the cutest puppies I have ever seen.  As you can tell by the pictures below, we are already very much in love!!

And how stinking cute are these bowtie collars?!  I ordered them off Amazon yesterday and they will be here tomorrow!!

On Friday, Todd and I snuck away for an early date night on the island.  We ended up sitting outside because the weather was so nice and there was live music.

Wasabi happy hour is so good, and we were able to eat and both have two glasses of wine for under $50!

What I wore

// Todd and I had a blast on Saturday at our neighborhood supper club luau!  And I ended up wearing this $25 blue strapless maxi from Friday's post.

5 on Friday

Hello sweet friends and happy happy FRIDAY!!!

ONE //

// Do you guys have any fun weekend plans?  Todd and I have a weekend full and it's all super fun stuff so I am very excited!  Tonight we are taking the golf cart and going on a casual date night to have sushi and wine at Wasabi!  Then, Taylor has a birthday party tomorrow, Carson has baseball, and Todd and I have our neighborhood "tiki theme" supper club.  I ordered these three dresses, and I am planning to do a try-on session in the next few hours so stay tuned if you've been searching for cute summer maxi dresses.

In love with this gorgeous aztec print and the $20 price tag!

This one is SO soft and it has pockets, plus, I love all the stunning prints it comes in!  Also, it's under $30!!!

This dress is another winner!!  The fit and the quality are good and the $25 price tag can't be beat!

TWO //

A lot of you have been asking what hair products I'm loving with my new cut and color. Honestly, I am not a fan of my short hair at all, but every since having Taylor my hair has just been a hot mess so it's just looks healthier when I cut it short.  Anyway, I read amazing reviews on the line, NatureLab, and you guys...I am obsessed!  It makes my hair feel so soft and keeps it frizz free.

The weather has been unbelievably gorgeous this week and we've been spending every afternoon outside.  Todd and I took Taylor to the park yesterday and our little monkey was in heaven.

And I was pretty excited on our walk to the park to find a broken palm leaf to bring home to put in our kitchen!

FOUR //

I can tell everyone (just like myself) is getting the organizing itch again.  I've been receiving messages about some of the things I used to help me get our kitchen organized last year so I wanted to share the link to that post again.  And if we have time this weekend, my plan is to tackle Carson and Taylor's drawers along with their closets.  I'll report back if that happens ;)

FIVE //
And last, because y'all know I can't resist a good e-card!

I hope these gave you a good laugh and I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Life Lately

Hello friends and happy Wednesday!!

Sorry I've been MIA the last two days, but I've had a few rough migraines that have made staring at a screen almost impossible.  That being said, I am feeling much better today which I'm very thankful for because my kiddos have a half day at school.

// I sure hope you all had a wonderful Easter!  On Saturday, I picked up a few different white flowers at Publix and made two small Easter arrangements.  I kept one here at our house and took the other one to my parents where we had Easter lunch.  And you guys, maybe I've been hiding under a rock, but I've never seen solid green hydrangeas before, but I found some at Publix and now I am obsessed.

// The kiddos baskets from the "Easter Bunny".  I am sure most of you all probably already have baskets for your kiddos, but if not, all of the baskets, liners, and other Easter stuff is on major sale right now at PBK.  Taylor and Carson both have the white Sabrina baskets, and we've had these now for 10 years for Carson and almost 7 years for Taylor and they have held up great!

The kiddos about to get there egg hunt on!  And please excuse Carson's shorts and kicks...he changed as soon as we got home from church and before I could snap a decent photo of them all dressed up.

// Last week was spring break for my kiddos, and since we didn't end up going anywhere we spent a lot of time at the pool.  And I am dying to finish my book, but I haven't been able to yet.

Hands down the best one piece swimsuit ever, and it's on sale right now in several of the colors.

Swimsuit runs pretty tts, and for reference, I 'm wearing a size 6.

// My little man warming up before pitching in Monday night's game.  They ended up losing their first game of the season after winning the first two, but they played great and luckily they were good sports about not winning.

// And last, here are two of my recent outfits from earlier this week and last week.

Tank runs big, and for reference, I'm wearing it in the xs.  Sandals run tts, and I'm wearing my normal 6.5.

Here's a better view of my sandals.  Y'all, I can't believe these are under $30!!

Blouse runs tts, and for sizing reference, I'm wearing a small.

Last Minute Easter Outfits and Basket Ideas

Hello friends and happy hump day!  I know it's a little late for an Easter post, but with good old Amazon Prime to the rescue there is still time to snag a few basket goodies.  And if you're like me and still haven't bought a dress, hopefully one of those as well ;)

Here are four dresses that are perfect for Easter and are all under $30 that can arrive at your doorstep by Friday!

I am obsessed with this stripe dress.  I actually just ordered it in the pale red color, so I'll be sure to share it when it arrives!!

Loving the fun, flirty sleeves and the small polka dots on this adorable dress!

Lace A Line Midi Dress
This dress is simply stunning and I can't get over how beautiful the lace details are.  It seriously looks like it would cost so much more than $28!
If you're looking for a more casual option, I think this one is perfect!

And then here are few non-candy items that would make perfect gifts to go in your kids baskets.  And again, if you order any of these today they will all arrive by Friday!
