5 on Friday

ONE //

Okay ladies, you all need these leggings in your life!!  They are pretty much identical to the Lululemon naked leggings, but they are only $24!!

They have the perfect high waist and they suck you so well while still feeling super comfortable.

Leggings run big and I am usually a size 4 in Lululemon, but took the xs in these.  Sweatshirt runs tts and I'm wearing a small.

TWO //

If any of you are on the hunt for some pretty wrapping paper then you need to check these sets out! The quality is great and it comes with everything you need.  It also comes in several different prints colors if the gold and white isn't your thing.

THREE //

I mean, I can't even handle how cute Tay looks in her little bear beanie and matching gloves!

This adorable $12 hat and mitten set would make the perfect Christmas gift and it also comes in several different animals.  I am still working on my kids toy gift guide, but you can see a lot that will be on there by clicking here

FOUR //

On Wednesday night, I met my favorite gal Nat for happy hour and an early dinner at Edmonds Oast. The food was okay, but man this tequila cocktail was out of this world amazing!!  The bartender made it up for us and she said that all she put in it was lime juice, jalapeno juice, bitters, and of course tequila.  I will definitely be trying to recreate this at home.

What I wore
// Black Jeans (55% off) // Leopard Pumps

FIVE //

Todd's grandmother turns 90 years old this weekend and we are all heading back home to celebrate her on Saturday!  Everyone is bringing a side dish to go along with fried chicken and I decided to make this bacon pimento cheese potato salad.  I mean, how amazing does this potato salad look!?!?
I am making it later this evening, so I'll be sure to report back on my stories on how it turns out!

Queso White Chicken Chili

I know its been a while since I've shared a recipe with you guys, but if I'm being honest, it's because I haven't really made anything new or exciting.  Now that the cold temperatures are rolling in, it's time to search for all the new chili and hearty soup recipes!  And since Todd, myself, and both kids are big fans of chili and soup, I am hoping to have a new weekly recipe to share with you all.

If you love chicken chili then this queso version will rock your world!!  Granted, it's not as healthy with the queso, but man is it delicious!

The mashed beans combined with the grated queso cheese give this soup such an amazing creamy flavor.

And if you don't have a dutch oven, this one has great reviews and is on major sale!!

This is the brand of cheese I used.  I found it at Whole Foods, but I think they also sell it at Harris Teeter as well.

Totally not chili related, but you guys need this oversized sweater in your life!  It's so warm and so so soft, it's under $40, and it comes in seven different colors!  Also, these $18 leggings are my new favorites right along with these camo mules that are on major sale!

INGREDIENTS
  1. 2 pounds chicken breast, cooked and shredded
  2. 4 cans Great Northern beans (2 cans mashed, 2 cans whole beans)
  3. 6 cups chicken stock
  4. 8 oz. Queso cheese, shredded
  5. 2 cups onion, diced
  6. 2 poblano peppers, diced
  7. 2 cans diced green chiles (4 oz. cans)
  8. 2 limes, juiced
  9. 4 cloves garlic, minced
  10. 2 tablespoons olive oil
  11. 1 tablespoon cumin
  12. 2 teaspoons chili powder
  13. 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  14. 1 teaspoon dried basil
  15. ½ teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  16. ½ teaspoon dry mustard
  17. ½ teaspoon pepper

INSTRUCTIONS
  1. In a large stock pot, sauté onion in olive oil over medium heat until softened. Add peppers and garlic and sauté until onions are browned.
  2. Rinse and drain beans. Mash 2 cans of the beans, leave 2 cans whole. (The mashed beans give the chili a wonderful creaminess!)
  3. Add spices, chicken stock and beans; simmer on medium heat for 20 minutes.
  4. Add shredded chicken, chiles and lime juice; simmer for 20 more minutes.
  5. Add queso and stir until cheese is melted.
  6. Top with your favorite fixings!

Early Amazon Fashion - Steals and Deals + Gift Guide For Him

*Thank you Amazon Fashion for #sponsoring this post.

I am pretty sure that most of you would agree with me when I say I don't know what I would do without Amazon.  I feel like there's nothing, and I mean nothing I can't find on there!  And not to mention, I can almost always find the best prices as well.

Today, I am so excited to partner with Amazon and share a few early holiday steal and deals with you, along with my favorites in their holiday curated shop and my mens Amazon gift guide.

First up, have you guys seen Amazon's curated section of compelling price point deals?  If not, you should check that out here.  Out of all the women fashion deals, my favorite section is the sweaters under $30 so I thought I would share all my top five favorites with you!  I mean, you simply cannot beat the under $30 price tag on these sweaters, and like I always do, I made sure they all had great reviews.

Next up, I wanted to share a few of my favorite Amazon 'must see markdowns'.  In this section they truly have something for everyone on your list, so I thought I would share a mix of my top five favorites.  Some of these markdowns are insane, such as the luggage below, which is normally $330 but now on sale for $96.  Also, it comes in about 20 different colors so don't worry if pink isn't your thing...ha!

And last, but not least...today friends, I give you my Amazon holiday gift guide for all the guys in your life!

This and That

Hello friends and happy Monday!!!

We leave for Disney tomorrow as soon as the kids get out of school and I don't have one thing packed yet!  I would normally be in panic mode right now, but thanks to Lexapro and the fact that this is our sixth trip with both kiddos, I have convinced myself that it's no big deal ;)

Since the weather is going to be warm during the day and cooler at night, I have a lot of new clothes for Carson and Taylor arriving at some point today from Amazon being that they both hit a major growth spurt recently.  A lot of you like for me to share what I'm packing for myself and the kids, so check back on my Amazon Page later today as I will be updating it with a new "Disney Packing" tab!

// When it get cold I'm not the biggest fan of dressing up.  I like to feel warm and cozy, so this is more than likely what my date night outfits are going to look like for a while.

Leaf Necklace // Jeans // Leopard Flats (only $24)

// On Friday, I signed this little guy out of school early for an appointment with the eye doctor.  He's had a small stye in his right eye that we can't seem to get to go away completely so the eye doctor put him on an antibiotic and we are hoping it does the trick.  It doesn't bother him and it's not painful like the ones he's had in the past, but I could still see it which was worrying me.

Luckily, she said she wasn't too worried, but if it doesn't go away after using the antibiotics and the warm compress he may have to have an injection to remove it completely.  Fingers crossed he doesn't have to do that, and hopefully, we can get this stye to go away on it's own.

And I can't get over how much older he looks with his braces on, I mean, where did my baby go!?!

// I had quite a few dm messages about my outfit from Friday, so here are all the details.

And speaking of Friday, I was in my pajamas by 6pm with a glass of red wine and my Housewives! The kids split time at my in-laws and my parents for the weekend while Todd had a guys night planned, so I had a super rare solo evening.

And for those who asked about our stocking holders, you can find them here and they come in several different colors.

// I saw this necklace online last week and I'm pretty sure I need it in my life.  It's something I've said to Carson and Taylor since they were babies and I just love it!

// And last, but not least, I found the best Lululemon Align leggings dupe ever!!!  They fit and the material feels exactly the same as Lululemon...and best part, these leggings are only $24!!!

CRZ High Waist Yoga Pants // V-Neck Long Sleeve Tee // Cable Knit Vest  Beige Sneakers // Gray Wool Cap

For sizing reference, I'm usually a 4 in Lululemon and I ordered these in the size small.

Stocking Stuffers For Her Under $50

Good morning friends and happy almost FRIDAY!!

Is anyone else freaking out that there's only a little over five weeks until Christmas!?  I mean, how is this even possible?

This year, unlike the past, I've already started my Christmas shopping!  Don't get me wrong, I've still got a long way to go before I'm finished, but the fact that I've already started is already making me feel so much more relaxed.

And after listening to your requests last week on my stories in regards to holiday gift guides you all wanted to see first (stocking stuffers being a big one), I figured I would share my favorites "for her" first.

Along with all the things I'm about to share that you could put in her stocking, another fool-proof gift for any woman are always cute pajamas (you can find my striped ones here) and a soft cuddly blanket!  The three blankets below are all super soft and the quality is amazing!  You can find my plush grey one here, cream feathered one here, and the grey pom pom blanket here

Okay, now let's discuss all the stocking stuffer goodies!  I am pretty sure almost all women would LOVE and want any and all of the items below.  That being said, if I had to pick my top two that I would say are guaranteed winners no matter her style or age, I would go with the cozy no-show socks, and the Thymes cedar candle

All of the products above along with this adorable pom pom garland are from Nordstrom, which all of y'all know by now is my number one place to online shop everything, and they have it all when it come to gifts for everyone on your list!!

Thymes cedar candle - This candle is the perfect mix of Christmas and the smell of wood.  The glass container is gorgeous and it's the perfect size to fit into a stocking.

Jo Malone London Ornament Duo Set - You guys know I am a huge fan of  Jo Malone London, and these two scents included in this travel size perfume and body lotion both smell divine!

Skin Gym Eye Workout Kit - I don't know of any women that couldn't use a little extra eye love around this time of year.  I am a huge fan of the jade roller, and this is such a great value set to grab.

Too Faced Sugar Cookie Eyeshadow Pallet - Too Faced makes the best shadows in my opinion.  This one is perfect for the holidays and it smells SO good!!

3-Pack Feathery No-Show Liner Socks - Y'all know I'm your girl when it comes to finding the best no-show socks...haha!  And these are PERFECT for winter to keep your feet warm and to wear with all your booties.

Too Faced Under The Tree Christmas Trio Set - Okay, this set is seriously unbelievable for the price!! It's a $230 value for $49 y'all!  It comes with this beautiful set of 18 eye shadows, bronzer, highlighter, blush, and mascara.

* I hope these ideas will help some of you get an early start on your Christmas shopping or maybe at least give you some ideas of some things you may want to add to your own Christmas wish list ;)

Also, below are a few more ideas that I am loving for stocking stuffers 'for her' as well!

And last, since I've been getting a lot of questions about my holiday decor, you can click any of the products in the image below to shop them!
