Holiday Dresses Under $100

Good morning ladies and happy almost Friday!!

I'm popping in today to share this highly requested dresses under $100. When it comes to the holidays and all the parties, I love getting dressed up and looking fancy just as much as the next girl, but it makes me even happier when I find a killer dress (that can be worn more than once) that doesn't break the bank!

(Click the image to shop the products)

- Words cannot express how obsessed I am with this red dress!!

- Give me all the fringe! I mean, can you just imagine how fabulous this dress would be on the dance floor.

- Perfect rose gold pumps that will go with any and every look.

-Talk about a statment ring, and it's only $40.

-This clutch is possibly the cutest I've ever seen.

- Such a figure flattering dress and I love the gorgeous green color.

- They had me at metallic polka dots with this beauty.

- I own this necklace and it's even prettier in person. It also happens to be on major sale right now.

And just in case none of those dresses moved you, here's a peek at a few more! All are under $100 and would amazing for any holiday party or winter wedding.

Gift Guide for the Cook

- One can never have enough wooden bowls. I love using my wooden bowls to store fruit and bread, but they are also great as serving pieces. This one is a great price and I love the color and design.

- I get asked about my salt cellar all the time, and sadly, mine is sold out, but this one is even prettier and a lot deeper so it is capable of holding more salt. There is also this one that is pretty much identical to mine and holds both salt and pepper.

- These are quite possibly the most gorgeous measuring cups I have ever seen.

- I have heard RAVE reviews about these copper pans and I can't get over how amazing the price is.

- And if you're going to have copper pans then you have to get the copper bakeware set :) But all jokes aside, I want this set bad, and again, great reviews and great price!

- DYING to get this cookbook! And this would make such a cute gift put into a ceramic baking dish like this one and then filled with the ingredients from one of her recipes.

- This is such a pretty dish towel and would make the perfect gift paired with this soap set

- I've been searching high and low for a new affordable knife set and I think this one may be the winner!

- This stunning marble tray would look good in almost any room, but I think it would be perfect in the kitchen.

- Cutest little gold measuring spoon set ever!

- With over 6,000 positive reviews, I would say this six quart dutch oven (that's also under $100) is a definite winner!

Trader Joe's - The Hits and Misses

I know I mentioned on Instagram that I was going to do a Trader Joe's post for you all, but in true Caycee fashion it has taken me this long to finally get around to it :)

Before we moved last year, we were a good thirty minutes or more from the closest Trader Joe's so I hardly ever got over there. But from our new house there is a Trader Joe's about ten minutes away, and I find myself dropping in there at least twice a month (maybe more). I have a love/hate with this place though. The hate is that I like to be able to grab everything I need for the week all in one store, and for me, Trader Joe's doesn't make this possible. The love, however, is that they have some really delicious food items that you can't find anywhere else and they also have really good prices! Does anyone else feel like this about Trader Joe's or is it just me?!?!

Riced Broccoli and Riced Cauliflower
Both the riced broccoli and riced cauliflower are big hits around our house. I often use them in recipes that call for a white rice or pasta and they always turn out delicious, not to mention, they're so much healthier.

Sweet and Spicy Beef and Broccoli
This one is definitely another hit! And it's not super spicy so both of my kids will actually eat this one.

Seasoned Brussels Sprouts
If you are a fan of brussels sprouts then make sure you pick these up on your next TJ visit. They are a life saver when you are in a rush. All you have to do is pop them on a baking sheet and toss them in the oven.

Burrata, Prosciutto, & Arugula Flatbread
Yes, yes, and yes on this one! This flatbread is so GOOD y'all, and it's perfect to slice up in small bite size pieces for parties.

Portobello Mushroom Fries
I absolutely love portobello mushrooms so I thought these were going to rock my world, but sadly, they were a big miss for us. Whether you spray your pan or not, the breading sticks to it, plus, no matter how long you bake them half of them still come out mushy.

Organic Silver Dollar Pancakes
Even though I heard good things about them, sadly, these pancakes were another miss for our family. I didn't think they tasted good at all and my kids agreed. To me, they had no flavor and the texture was rubbery. Needless to say, I will not be buying these again.

Tandoori Garlic Naan
Hands down my favorite naan flatbread. The garlic flavor is so delicious, and they are always so soft and fluffy. We love to use them to make pizzas on the grill.

Gluten Free Rice Pasta and Cheddar
This "macaroni and cheese" is a HUGE HIT around our house! Even if you aren't gluten free, you should pick this one up because it's so good. The pasta is soft without falling part and the cheese flavor is the best you will find from a box.

Okay, that is all I have for this time, but if this is something you guys would like to see more of, please leave me a comment below and let me know! And I would LOVE to hear if you guys have any Trader Joe's favorites that I need to pick up on my next trip!!

Gift Guide : For The Organizer

Good morning my loves, and happy almost Thanksgiving! I'm going to be signing off tomorrow to enjoy some much needed quality time with my family in DISNEY WORLD!! I will have a post up on Friday with all the best Black Friday Sales, but as you may have noticed, a lot of them have already started! You can find them all in my post here, and I'll also be updating you guys with any new ones on my seven hour car ride :) Thank goodness I stocked up on some new Disney movies...haha!

And you guys, I can't lie, this post was so hard for me to round up. The OCD in me wanted to go through each and every room and pick out all the best organizing products for each space. But let's be real, that would've taken me forever and would've been WAY too long to read in one post.

But it did give me a good idea for after the New Year...would you guys like to see an organizing post on each room in my house?  There are still a few spots and closets that need a little a lot of work, and what better way to hold myself accountable than to promise you guys a post sharing those spaces. Let me know what you guys think?

Anyway, all that to say, today I rounded up a few of my favorite organizing products that I KNOW any woman would love! Sorry men, I'll get to y'all later, but us ladies have a lot more stuff junk to put away and organize :)

// Every woman (mama or not) NEEDS this planner in their life.

// These hangers will change your life and the amount of space you have in your closet. Say goodbye to sweater nipples forever ;)

// Excuse me PBT, but no one under the age of 30 should have a lacquer beauty organizer this pretty. But I guess I'll make an exception since they are all on major sale...along with free shipping!

// I've heard wonderful things about this book, and according to the incredible reviews, I'm not the only one!

// I'm in desperate need for some bra and panty organization over here and this little gadget seems to organize them both...and for cheap! And speaking of bras, after hearing RAVE reviews, I've been dying to try out this one and this one. My girls need all the help they can get these days...and that is not a joke.

// Dying to order a few of these boxes for the open top part of my closet. Not only are they pretty to look at, but they also keep your sweaters nice and neat during the summer months.

// Prettiest Hamper ever and would also be cute to stuff toys in as well.

// I have something similar to these under the sink acrylic towers, but mine aren't near as chic. I'm thinking I may just need to move mine to Todd's side of the sink and order these for myself!

// This little gold display box is not only pretty on your dresser, it also has lots of space to store your jewels!

Healthy Harvest Chicken Skillet + Sweater Dress Love + Giveaway Winners

Coming at you with another delicious healthy meal, and y'all, this one would be PERFECT to make over Thanksgiving! And if you wanted to make it more of a side to accompany your turkey and other fixings then you could always leave out the chicken.

This dish is super healthy, but also packed full of flavor. And thanks to my new cast iron covered dutch oven, I was able to keep it in one pot the entire time! I was a little skeptical when I saw the price on this dutch oven, but you guys, it's awesome!

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt, divided
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 slices thick-cut bacon, chopped
  • 3 cups Brussels sprouts, trimmed and quartered (about 3/4 pound)
  • 1 medium sweet potato, peeled and cut into 1/2 inch cubes (about 8 ounces)
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and cut into 3/4 inch cubes
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced (about 2 teaspoons)
  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh thyme or 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup reduced-sodium chicken broth, divided
Directions :

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large, nonstick or cast iron skilletover medium high, until hot and shimmering. Add the chicken, 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt, and black pepper. Cook until lightly browned and cooked through, about 5 minutes. Transfer to plate lined with paper towels.
  2. Reduce skillet heat to medium low. Add the chopped bacon and cook until crisp and brown and the fat has rendered, about 8 minutes. With a slotted spoon, transfer the bacon to a paper towel-lined plate (I simply laid another paper towel on top of the plate with the chicken, then stacked the bacon on that). Discard all but 1 1/2 tablespoons bacon fat from the pan.
  3. Increase skillet heat back to medium high. Add Brussels sprouts, sweet potato, onion, and remaining 1/2 teaspoon salt. Cook, stirring occasionally, until crisp-tender and the onions are beginning to look translucent, about 10 minutes.
  4. Stir in the apples, garlic, thyme, and cinnamon. Cook 30 seconds, then pour in 1/2 cup of the broth. Bring to a boil and cook until evaporated, about 2 minutes. Add the reserved chicken and remaining 1/2 cup broth. Cook until heated through, about 2 minutes. Stir in reserved bacon and serve warm.

Next up, here are the three dresses that I shared with you guys over the weekend on Instastories. I love all three of these dresses and you can not beat the under $55 price tag on all three!

Dress runs big, but it's supposed to be an oversized loose fit. For reference, I'm wearing it in the small. I may get it hemmed at the bottom a few inches...being 5'2", I like most of my dresses to hit right above the knee.

Dress runs super big and I'm wearing it the xs, but I'm sending it back for the xxs. It is so comfy and I think it will look adorable dressed up or down.

Dress runs tts and I'm wearing it in the xs. And y'all, I am obsessed...this dress is so comfy and it has the lightest fleece lining!

And last, but not least, the THREE winners of the Colleen Rothschild Discovery Collections are below!! Congrats ladies!! Please shoot me an email at and let me know your mailing address!

And speaking of Colleen Rothschild, you guys, she has started her Black Friday Sale now and it's a good one!! You can save 30% off site wide with the code BFRI30!!

Ultimate favorite Christmas movie is def. hands down A Christmas Story!

This and That

// The kids real baking set was a HUGE hit at our house! Even Carson wanted to help make them, which as his age says a lot because he's usually way too cool for baking or cooking...ha! And if you're looking for a super easy, super yummy sugar cookie recipe then I highly recommend this one. I couldn't believe how good the cookies came out and how good they actually tasted.

// We had a little neighborhood brunch get-together yesterday, and everyone was asked to bring a dish to share. So, I made one of my tried and true favorites...crescent sausage bites and mini pancake muffins for the kids. I ended up having a lot of requests via Instagram to share both recipes, so I included the links for each above the pictures.

I actually add shredded cheddar cheese to the top of mine so I guess it's really four ingredients.

And as you can probably tell, we had no fun at all :)

On Friday night, my girl Natalie and I attended the Heroes of Hope Gala here in Charleston. It was such a fun night, and I always have the best time with my favorite lady.

I had ordered a few different dresses to try for the event, but thanks to y'alls recommendation, I ended up going with this oldie but goodie :) And it's actually 40% off right now. There aren't many sizes left, so hurry and snag it up if you like it!

For sizing reference, I'm wearing the 2p.

And here are the details on all the other dresses just  in case any of you guys are looking for a holiday party dress or winter wedding dress.

Dress runs tts, and for reference, I'm wearing the small.

Dress runs big in the top, and for reference, I'm wearing the small.

For sizing reference, I'm wearing the 0p.

Dress runs tts, and for reference, I'm wearing the 0.
