I'm so excited to finally share our finished upstairs media/playroom with you guys. In our last house, we had a very small playroom and a separate media room, so when we were building this house I knew I wanted just one space for both. I wanted to make sure this space was fun, while also aesthetically pleasing.
That being said, when the opportunity came about to team up with Lulu and Georgia on this space I didn't hesitate to say yes! As most of you may already know, Lulu and Georgia has been a long time favorite interior shop of mine. They seriously have it all, and everything in their shop is gorgeous.
Once you head over there prepare to stay a while, because there are so many pretty things to check out. Their rug section alone can suck you in for hours. With so many selections (and just moving in), I knew it would be a good idea to bounce some ideas around with someone else. I reached out to my talented designer friend, Sarah Swanson. Together, we created exactly what I had pictured, and I couldn't be more thrilled with how this space turned out.
Enough rambling, let's take a peek at the pictures :)

Which of the affiliate linked items were gifted to you directly or indirectly by Lulu & Georgia?
ReplyDeleteHi Anonymous! No affiliate links were used on the items that were gifted to me. Thanks and have a great day!
DeleteThank you for disclosing which items were courtesy of Lulu & Georgia. It's make your post much more authentic to know that you intentionally purchased certain items and did not select them merely because they were a "gift." And I appreciate that affiliated links were not used on the "gifted" items. Unfortunately, most bloggers do not follow suit. Have a good day.
DeleteCaycee, I think it turned out beautifully! Love the built-in homework desks...such a good idea! And I agree, L&G has curated such a beautiful shop! Love all your picks!

ReplyDeleteHey Anonymous! Well you know what they say... opinions are like assholes. Everyone has one.
DeleteHope you have a wonderful day :)
This made me laugh. Can't for the life of me figure out why complete strangers, anonymous at that, feel the need to be so critical??? The room is lovely whether it's something everyone would choose (or afford) or not! You have beautiful taste!
DeleteThis anonymous person is so sad. And butt hurt. And jealous. And must live a sorry life.
ReplyDeleteOmg you just made be burst out laughing girl :)
DeleteAnd I wouldn't say it's sterile, but very feminine....but I know you like your pink! :-)
ReplyDeleteHa! Yep, I do love my pink ;)
DeleteThis is a really pretty room! Can you share what color fabric you got from Ikea, I'm having a hard time deciding because online they all look beige or off-white, but yours looks white-white which is what I'm looking for. Also LOVE this rug!
