Shoe Twins.....Dad and son looks

Happy Saturday, y'all!  Looks likes it's going to be another gorgeous, sunny day here in Charleston! Carson has a baseball game, and after that, we are heading to pick up one of his buddies for a sleepover!  I am looking forward to a night of pizza, games, and movies!!

Yesterday I shared a mommy and me look, so now, I think it's only fair that I give my boys and their shoes a little shout out as well.

And who knew Crocs could look so stylish?!?  Silly question I guess, because obviously my friends at Rack Room Shoes knew!

I really love the fact that both of their shoes can be dressed up for a more preppy look, all while still having the comfort of everyone's favorite brand, Crocs

And again, Crocs are included in Rack Room Shoes everyday BOGO, so it's a great time to grab a pair for your entire family!

Shoe Twins... Mommy and Me

Cheers my's Friday!!!

Today I am teaming up with Rack Room Shoes to share some of their fun spring sandals!  And you know I couldn't resist shoe-twinning with my mini, so I knew Taylor and I both had to have these adorable braided sandals.

Besides the fact that these sandals are super cute, they are also extremely comfortable.  Both pair have a light, cushioned lining and stretchy ankle straps.  That being said, we can both wear these all day long without worrying about sore feet, plus, getting them on and off is a breeze!

All smiles sporting her new sandals.

And don't forget Rack Room Shoes offers their everyday BOGO on almost all of their shoes!  This makes it so much easier to grab more than one pair or buy for shoes for the entire family.

Going on around here

Happy Thursday love bugs...I hope you are all having a great week!  It's been a fun and busy week around here.  I feel like I've had more events and meetings in one week than I have all year long.

// On Tuesday morning, I dropped by the warehouse of one of my favorite local furniture and home decor shops, Celadon!  Earlier this month they invited me out to preview their new arrivals and pick out a few of my favorites for their 12 week summer series, the Celadon Sunday Flea Market.  Their warehouse is jam packed with all kinds of gorgeousness, and I am already dreaming up all the pieces I would love for the new house.  So locals, if you don't have any plans on Sunday, I highly recommend you load up the family and head to North Charleston for this fun event!!  The time is 11AM-2PM and there will be over 50 locals artist and makers, a live band, jump castles, cotton candy, and my favorite beer and food trucks galore!  So without any more rambling, here's a little peek at some of my favorite Celadon pieces.

What I am wearing

// On Tuesday night, I had dinner plans with a few girlfriends at the Macintosh with Lauren, the beautiful face behind LBH and Company.  She and I have sent so many emails back and forth over the years, so I was very happy and so excited to finally meet her in person!  And she was, of course, even more lovely and sweet in person!

What I wore //

// And last night it was another night out on the town with two fun events and double dinner date with Ashley and her hubs!

What I wore

The first event was hosted by Tara Guerard celebrating Eddie Ross and his new book Modern Mix! By the time we arrived all his books were sold out, so I promptly came home and placed my order for one here.  I can't wait to get my hands on it, especially after meeting Eddie in person.  He was so real and hilarious, I seriously could have sat and chatted with him all night!

After that Ashley and I walked down a few blocks for a little blogger meet up that was being hosted at Zero George.  And it was so fun finally meeting sweet Erin and Allie!!

We ended the night with dinner at Michael's on the Ally with our husbands.  Or I should say Todd and I ended the night, because Ashley and Lanier had a concert to attend after dinner ;)  It was such a fun night and I loved seeing and chatting with so many wonderful people, but I am officially wiped out today...haha!!  I'm hoping I'll catch my second wind because I have a much needed date at the gym with my trainer....wish me luck!!

A Gift For Every Mom

As you probably know, I am a big fan of Modcloth and all of their clothing, but did you know they also have a really cool home and gift section?!  I spent the better half of my day yesterday browsing their site, and I was truly shocked at all the great stuff I found.

Below are a few of my favorites that I think would make some great Mother's Day gifts!

This may be the sweetest book ever.  And how fun would it be filling this out and reminiscing on all of your favorite memories as a child (and as an adult) that you've shared with your mother.

No more mascara stained washcloths with this bad boy!  I don't think any mom would have a problem receiving one of these!

When in doubt, a candle always make a great gift.  The Green Fig and Bamboo scent sounds amazing!  The gorgeous ceramic holder it comes in is an added bonus.

176 pages of delicious ways to make toast......sign me and mama up for this one please!

These may just be the most adorable measuring cups I've ever seen and I am not even a cat lover...ha!

I think this would make a perfect gift for the expecting mom.
I wish so badly that I would have kept a journal when I was pregnant with Taylor and Carson.  I would love to look back and remember all the thoughts and feelings I had throughout each pregnancy.

Funniest yoga mat ever!  And please tell me I am not the only one thinking about what I want to eat the entire time I am working out...haha!

And below, I've rounded up a few more cute gift ideas from Modcloth

*Thank you Modcloth for partnering on this post.

New Shopbop Markdowns... Hunter, Joie, Parker and more!!!

Whoop whoop Shopbop just made TONS of new markdowns!

There are so many good ones, but the ones below are my top picks from the sale!!

If anyone has an upcoming wedding to attend, or a fun cocktail party please get this dress! I wish I had somewhere to wear it, because it's absolutely stunning! This color and print also comes in this wrap dress as well!

The colors and the style of this blouse are simply stunning, and perfect for spring and summer!

I have a few pair of Rag and Bone jeans, but I have yet to get a solid white pair! I know everyone raves over these, so I am considering giving them a try while they are on sale!

It's not very often you see the classic Splendid pjs on sale, and I love this beautiful blue color!

This beach maxi is gorgeous, and I love the embroidered details too!

This blue so pretty and perfect for rainy spring days!

And because clearly I am having a thing for blue today :)

Life Lately

// This past Friday morning, Todd headed out on his annual fishing trip with the guys.  They went camping and spent the weekend trout fishing.  Here are a few pictures he snapped from the trip.  He says they had a great time.  I know he enjoys his quiet time with good ol' mother nature, plus, some time with his good buddies.

// My mom came to town and spent the weekend with me and the kids and we had ourselves a great time as well.  On Friday, Carson went to a sleepover with one of his best buddies from school, so we decided to have a girls night.  Taylor loves Italian so the three of us headed to Al Di La for dinner.  If you visit Charleston, and want some fresh Italian, you must visit this's SO good!  We all shared the meatballs for an appetizer, and for dinner, Taylor and I had the chicken parmesan.  They were both delicious.

// On Saturday morning, we took Carson to play in his baseball game.  I love that my mom finally got to watch him play.  Even though his team lost they played a great game and made some really good plays.  I know Todd hated missing his game, so I made sure to take lots of pictures.

I even took a video of him batting in the last inning.
(Please excuse my obnoxious voice, I just get so excited)

// After Carson's game, we headed out to do some strawberry picking.  We were planning on going to Ambrose Farm, but on the way there we passed this small, private U-pick strawberry farm.  We decided to pull in and check it out!  I am so glad we did.  We pretty much had the place to ourselves and the strawberries were beautiful!  The owner was so kind and told us how they don't use any chemicals and to please eat as many as we wanted while picking them.  You better believe the kids were in heaven.  They both LOVE strawberries, and these were so sweet and juicy!

Taylor's crazy hair is always falling in her face, but I still love this picture of the three of them!

// Then on Sunday, the kids and I headed to a baby shower to celebrate our sweet friend Erin and their soon to be second baby boy!!  Because most of the guys were on the camping trip, they decided to make the shower kid friendly.  My girlfriend that hosted the shower has the biggest backyard, full of fun toys for the kids, so they played outside while we mingled and opened presents.

What I wore

// On Sunday afternoon, Todd arrived home, and of course, we were all really excited to see him!  I sometimes forgot how much time we actually spend together and how much I really enjoy his company, so I always miss him like crazy when he is gone :)  We ended the evening grilling hot dogs, watching the kids play, and listening to music on deck.  It was the perfect ending to a fun, but very busy weekend!
