Happy Halloween!!!!!

Happy Halloween everyone!! Hope you all have a fun and safe Halloween!!

I am off to get a certain little TinkerBell ready for her Halloween party, then we switch to a bumble bee tonight :) I can't wait to watch my babies trick or treat, it's so fun watching the excitement as they get each piece of candy!

Sorry for the lack of content today, we stayed snuggled up outside watching Halloween movies way too late last night! I decided being there was just more important than preparing a post on the computer last night:) #goodcall

Dressy Dressy...............

It's about that time you guys!! Time to start searching for the perfect holiday dresses!! This year is going to be extra exciting because I get to find the perfect dress for my 30th birthday bash and two more for holiday parties! Oh yeah, and we have a January wedding!! This time of the year always gets so crazy, but is still so fun!! :)

I now have two down and two to go! If you follow me on Instagram I am sure you saw the three dresses I ordered which are all stunning, but the one on the right was a touch too big so I am happily ordering the next size down (it runs big BTW). The other two, however, are keepers and will be happily living in my closet waiting to be worn!

Not sure which event I will wear this dress to, but until then I plan to rock it out for date night! Thank you Nordstrom for always having the most beautiful dresses. You guys never fail me!

And seriously, can you guys believe the price on this dress?!?! The quality is outstanding, and I promise you, it feels so lovely on!

And y'all, these shoes!! So happy to have finally found a pair of perfect black, strappy heels! I plan on wearing these with all my dresses this season!

Seriously, so many good holiday dresses this year! Here are just a few of my favorites below.

Wish List Wednesday.........

I am pretty obsessed with this coat! I love the length, the color, and the price!

Can you believe the bootcut is making a comeback!! I've got to admit, I am a little excited about this!! Having the booty and legs that I do, I think this look is a little more forgiving!

My girl Erin rocked these exact ones the other night and she looked so good in them!!
(Don't worry, I asked permission before posting this picture)

She comes in three different colors and is on major sale right now! I can see this pullover being worn so many different ways, dressed up or down.

Hey girl, hey!! Can we talk about how stunning this little black dress is and the fact that it's only $60.00! Talk about an awesome holiday dress!

That pop of pink with the gray has me swooning!!

New Markdowns...........

Thought I would pop in and let you know Shopbop just added tons of new markdowns!!! Most of it 40% off or more!

Below are just a few of my favorites from the sale!

Workout + Healthy Recipe.........

It's been a while since I've shared a good workout with you guys and my workout yesterday was killer so I thought I would share.

Repeat 4 times

* 20 Walking lunges

*  20 Kettle bell swings with 20lb kettle bell

* 15 walking lunges with arms and kettle bell held above head.

* Medicine ball torso rotation 20 times on each side
(example below)

If I am being honest, I have kind of fallen off the healthy eating bandwagon and my tight jeans are telling on me! I keep blaming it on the fact our kitchen isn't 100% complete, but let's be real, the stove has never stopped working :)  So now it's time for more healthy meals at home and less meals from a drive thru.

I made this dish last night and it was pretty good, especially considering how healthy it is!

Note: I used canned tomatoes and after last night I would not use the canned tomatoes next time.  I think it would be much better with fresh tomatoes. Todd doesn't really love tomatoes and my thoughts were that it would taste more sauce-like with the canned tomatoes. Yeah, not so much, it just tasted like canned tomatoes ;)

This and That

Happy Monday Loves!! Did you all have a great weekend? I feel like we crammed in more than enough activities, fun, and projects all into one weekend.

On Friday we had a wedding! Oh my, we had fun...maybe a little too much fun. The night ended with a dance off, sore feet, and Taco Bell................need I say more?  How funny that me and two of my girlfriends wore red? Haha, and no that was not planned :) It was such a beautiful night and the bride looked so stunning. Great memories were definitely made!

On Saturday, we ran errands most of the morning. That afternoon, Todd and our friend/neighbor, Zach, worked on wiring the outdoor TV wires behind the wall and later we had our 2nd annual neighborhood hayride.

I wish I could have got some better pictures, but it was dark and this was the best I could do. It was so much fun and I was so proud of Carson for changing his mind and deciding to ride. We actually had no tears and all the boys thought the "scary people", AKA - the dads, were actually funny.

Sunday was another day of running around and projects! Todd hung my new drum over the breakfast table, Carson and I grabbed our pumpkins to carve, and we ended the night with grilled burgers on the deck!

Oh yeah, and we started the morning with these yummy rolls along with some bacon. I wish I could tell you I made them, but I've got to give old Pillsbury credit for this one!

On another note, so sorry I didn't link the correct link to the soup on Friday. Here's the correct link :)

We are supposed to have some cooler weather this week and even cooler the next week. I've got my eye on some comfortable, yet still "pulled together" if you will, tunic and leggings.

I love this look for the fall and winter.

And I'll leave you with a funny e-card :) I am off to the gym, then the grocery store, and then to grab a few more paint samples!

5 on Friday

* We have our little neighborhood hayride/ Halloween party this Saturday evening. I love Halloween in our hood, the kids are so darn cute dressed up, and it's so fun to look back at all the pictures. Time sure does fly. Carson has informed me he will be staying at the party and skipping the hayride. He's not a big fan of the 'spooky people' that scare them during the ride. It's just the dads dressed up, but he still doesn't like it. Taylor on the other hand loves it! One fearless child and the other scared of his own shadow :)

* Todd and I saw a movie for our date night this past week. Movies nights are quickly becoming a favorite for me. I love dressing down, eating buttered popcorn, and being able to just lose yourself for a few hours!  Sadly we saw Addicted, and you guys, it was horrible. I mean, like really bad. The only good thing about it was all the actors and actresses were easy on the eyes, other than that, save your money and see something else!!

* We have a wedding to go to tonight and it's going to be a fun one!! I love a good wedding and I really love a good reception ;) I am still debating on which dress to wear. I ordered this one last week and it should be in today!! The wedding is at 5 so I am thinking it will be dressy enough!

* I love soup during the winter, but it has to be a good hearty one. This white chicken chili looks amazing!! I plan on making it this weekend and I will report back.

Last, I am so excited that they came out with a new color in my favorite workout pants! I love the navy and I still think it will pair with most of my tops! It's fun to switch it up from the usual black :)

Tory Burch....Private Sale

Hey,  incase you haven't heard Tory Burch just announced their private sale!!!

My two favorites would have to be.........

This bag, marked half off!

And this gorgeous cuff

Gone Fishing

Y'all, I know that title is totally goofy, but it's the best I could come up with. When I asked Todd if he would mind modeling his jeans for me, he laughed and said, "Nah, I'll pass!" Then, I told him I would throw in a nice shirt, boots, and I would pay for dinner. Yeah, he changed in mind pretty quickly ha! But, he said he would only do it if he could do something he enjoyed doing while I snapped the pictures. The rules were: I am not standing alone posing, I am not giving you any awkward smiles, and I get to fish. Hey, I've worked with more difficult requests in my life ;)

I know they are both mine and I am a little biased, but I sure do have two handsome little fishermen in my life.

Okay on the real, Todd has a hard time finding jeans that fit him in the waist and the length. So I was pretty pumped, but not surprised that Nordstrom had our solution. These Hudson jeans that Todd has on come in all sizes and 3 different lengths to each size.

I know shirtless Todd is way more fun, but how good looking is this plaid shirt. I usually prefer him dressed a little more preppy, but I've got to say looking through these pictures I am kinda of digging this entire look. Especially the boots, they're kinda hot right!
