Amazon Swimsuits and Cover-ups - All Under $25

Good morning gals, and happy Tuesday! I can't believe summer break is in less than two weeks away. As much as I love a routine, I'm looking forward to not waking up as early in the mornings and having things slow down a bit around here.

Now that we have a pool less than a block away, I'm sure that's where we will be spending most of our days. That being said, I thought it was the perfect time to share a few SUPER AFFORDABLE (and good quality) swimsuits I found on Amazon.

Amazon fashion can be so hit or miss, and trust me, I've ordered my share of misses :) Either way, I've learned to always make sure I read the reviews closely and pay close attention to the size and fit details.

I have listed six swimsuits and two cover-ups below that are all under $25, great quality, and super cute!

I love that this cover-up ties in the front, and I'm always a sucker for pom poms! Also, this is the pink pom pom cover-up I had on in last night's Instastories (I got sidetracked and forgot to snap a picture). A lot of the reviews on this bikini mentioned that it ran small, and that you need to size up. I have to disagree, because I ordered the medium and I felt like it was a little too big. I'll share more on my stories today and show you exactly what I'm talking about.

I love a side tie bikini because I like to be able to adjust my bottoms for a better fit. This one was a perfect fit with just the right amount of booty and front coverage. For sizing reference, I think this one runs tts and I'm wearing a small. This beach sarong is awesome! It comes in 15 different colors and can be worn several different ways.

Runs tts and I'm wearing the small (6).

This one has light, removable padding, plus, both ties at the neck and the back are adjustable. The material is nice and thick, and I think the lemons are so fun! And if you love a one-piece, then you need to check this one and this one out!

Forest Leaves Printing Tank Padding Bikini Set

This one is by far my favorite print and the quality is awesome. I think it runs tts, but it's very bootylicious :) I ordered the small, but I feel like I could have used the medium in the bottoms for more coverage so I think I'm going to try this one with a similar leaf print. It has great reviews and looks really cute on everyone that posted pictures in it.

Detachable Padded Cutout Push Up Striped Bikini Set

This bikini runs tts, and for reference, I'm wearing a small. I love stripes and the seersucker material on this one. It also comes in three other colors!

Floral High Neck Bikini Cross Back Swimsuit 2 Piece Bathing Suit

Okay, this cute suit was definitely my favorite! I love every single thing about it. It has light, removable padding, the material is really nice and thick, and I also love all of the colors and designs it comes in. For sizing reference, it does run small, so I would go up one size. I'm wearing a medium.

After taking a poll on Instagram, it looks like y'all preferred Cooking with Caycee over sharing the recipe in a random post. This made me really happy to see because I love giving you guys a little peek at our real life, while also sharing a good recipe!

Even though today's recipe is super healthy, it is packed full of flavor and is so delicious! Plus, it saves great to have it leftover, so Todd and I were both able to have a healthy lunch the next day!

10 Must-Have Summer Dresses Under $100

Happy Hump Day, friends!

There's nothing more I love in than a good dress in the summer, and today I've got ten really good dresses to share with you! I tried to do a mix of dressy/casual along with everything in between!

Y'all know I love a good white and crochet dress and this one was originally $178, but is now $64!!!

I've had my eye on this stunning maxi for a while, but my size had been sold out until today...I acted fast and grabbed it this morning!

I love the color, the tie waist, and the drop shoulders on this one. Plus, it would be perfect for a casual summer wedding.

I wanted this dress SO bad last year, but I couldn't bring myself to pay $178 for it. But guess what, I'm glad I didn't pull the trigger because it is now on major sale for under $100!

This is the perfect everyday toss-on maxi and it comes in four other colors in regular and petite sizes.

Give me all the stripes and bows! Especially when the stripes and bows are 55% off!

It's been a long time since I checked out Forever 21, but man, I found some seriously cute stuff. There's not many sizes left in this one, so I would grab it now if you want it!

LOVE the cute and oversized fit of this shift dress. I also love that it can be easily dressed up or down.

I tried this one on in the store yesterday and it's even cuter in person!! If you are 5'3 or taller, go with the regular and not the petite.

Embroidered V-Neck Sheath

I just ordered this dress and it should arrive tomorrow. It has awesome reviews and you can't beat the $37 price tag!

This and That

// I hope all you ladies had a wonderful Mother's Day yesterday! Todd, Carson, and Taylor made sure my day was extra special starting out allowing me to sleep in, sweet cards, and a few really good gifts.

When Todd reads my blog I never know if he is even paying much attention, but clearly he does because he bought me these earrings that he knew I loved. He knew I had gifted a pair in this post, but I had mentioned that I really loved them and the way they looked on so he said he made a mental note and ordered them the next week! Nothing better than knowing your man is actually listening and hearing you...haha!

Todd also knows how much I love Nest candles so he ordered me this trio set! They all smell amazing, and as soon as I get this house picked up I am going to light one up. Please tell me I'm not the only one that has to have their house clean before they will light a candle?!?!

After having a really relaxing morning, we took the golf cart and headed to brunch at Dockery's. It was already hot by noon, but there was a really nice breeze out so we sat outside and enjoyed a really yummy brunch! And to top things off, all the mamas got their first mimosa free!

I received a alot of dm messages asking about the maxi dress I had on yesterday. It's such a good one and it's only $30...you can find it here

// And this round handmade wicker tote was also asked about a good bit. Just so you know, I ordered it in the small. It is the perfect size for your phone, wallet, lip gloss, and keys!

// I finished the book, Accidentally Married this weekend and it was SO good!! It was so good that I  actually knocked it out in about five hours. Warning though, it does have a lot of very graphic sex scenes, but it's not what the book is all about and the story is so good!

Lemon One-Piece (wearing size small ) // Straw Hat // Book

And last, I just ordered this book that a friend recommended. I am still looking for more good summer reads, so if you all know of any it would make me so happy if you shared them in the comments!

My Real Life Thoughts - Marriage and Relationships

It's been quite a while since I've written something raw and emotional on this blog. I'm not sure why, but over the years I somehow lost my voice. Anytime I would open up my computer to write something that was in my heart I would freeze and I would convince myself that whatever it was I had to say was not worthy enough to be published...I feared that I would be talked about and judged.

That being said, this lead me to stick to writing about the easy things in life while continuing to share my love of fashion, interiors, and family. While I truly enjoy all of those things, and really love talking about them, the truth is that life isn't always easy. Todd and I have been married for almost eleven years now, and I'll be the first to tell you it's not always sunshine and rainbows. About three years ago Todd and I hit a "rough patch". We didn't seem to agree on anything, and we were constantly competing with each other over who did more. We would get in the biggest fights over the most ridiculous things. At the end of each day, we both felt exhausted and so disconnected.

We both knew we still loved each other, but we also knew we needed help. Starting therapy was the best decision either of us have ever made. It not only saved our marriage, but it brought us closer than I ever thought possible. Now don't get me wrong, therapy wasn't always easy...it was actually pretty brutal for a while. Things that we didn't even know were an issue were brought to our attention, and things that had bothered us for a long time, but were "swept under the rug" came out in full force.

Todd and I learned so much about one another, and we also learned so much about ourselves. At the end of the day, the biggest and the most important thing we learned is that in order to be happy as human beings, we have to be CONNECTED. And in order to be connected, you have to talk about the things that aren't always easy. You also have to share how you're feeling and what's on your mind. No two people in this world are alike and we all think very differently, so if you are not communicating with one another, you both assume how the other is feeling... and we all know what they say about assuming :)

Todd and I "graduated" from therapy about six months ago, and while things still aren't always perfect, as a couple, I can honestly say we are stronger and more connected than we've ever been.
Between work, kids, and life in general, making time to connect with your significant other is no easy task...but it's so important. And while Todd and I have had date nights since Carson was born, it wasn't until recently that we really started to embrace them.

The photos below are a pretty good example of where we are at these days as a couple. While both of us would rather skip a photoshoot and head straight to dinner, I knew I had a collaboration with Nordstrom coming up. And after checking out the brand that I was asked to share, I realized that it was a brand Todd and I would both love. So we decided to make this collaboration fun and shoot the look together before we headed out to dinner. And I'm being dead serious when I say we actually had fun taking these photos. We laughed, goofed off, and made the best of "working" before dinner.

Todd's look

My look
Stripe Tie Waist Dress (runs tts and I am wearing the 0 petite) // Sandals // Earrings // Sunglasses

After all the deep stuff above, let me tell you all a little more about the new brand 1901 Todd and I both love. First off, I am obsessed with almost all of their dresses...the designs, the fit, the prices, and the quality are all amazing. And while I wore this one for the shoot, I also ordered this one and this one. The men's collection by 1901 is just as good as the women's. Todd loved his shorts and his button down so much that he had me order them both in a few more colors. And I can't lie, I love the way Todd's legs look in a pair of 7 inch shorts :)

Make sure you check out these gorgeous pieces from 1901 below. This stripe V-neck dress has my name all over it!

Thank you Nordstrom for partnering on this post.

April Amazon Purchases

Happy Hump Day! I took a poll yesterday on Instastories, and it seems as though you guys really wanted to see my April Amazon purchases. I love that you guys love Amazon just as much as I do, and every month I seem to spot more and more amazing finds. That being said, I'm thinking I will probably make this a regular monthly post :) And sorry I'm a little late getting it up this month...April flew by so darn fast!

PS - If you missed March's Amazon Purchases, you can check the post out here!

I LOVE my regular airy NuBra , but I wanted one that cut lower so I could wear it with v-neck dresses and tops. So, I did a little research and found this one...it arrived last week and I am obsessed. It holds the girls up and sticks just as well as the NuBra, plus, it was only $20!

I changed up a few things in our linen closet (organization post coming soon on that) and I ended up using these four baskets on one of my shelves. The quality is amazing and they are deep so they hold a lot of stuff.

These are hands down the best tees you will ever find! And can we talk about the fact that they're less than $13 a piece!?!? I own several different styles and colors, and they are all great! As far as sizing goes, I think they run a little small. I am wearing the small.

These are the headbands that you have all seen me wearing and asking about on Instastories. They are super cute and such a great price. And I love that they don't slip off your head and they are adjustable too.

Are these not the most adorable little succulent pots ever! I grabbed a few sets to give as gifts for Mother's Day along with the bigger gifts. And for the end of the year teacher gifts, I ordered these gorgeous pots to put orchids in to go along with their gift cards.

I love this brand...and this maxi fit amazing! You can see it on me here in this post. And this maxi that just came out from Ella Moon is calling my name!

Trust me when I tell you want this for the trunk of your car and or suv!! It's a game changer for everyday errands and road trips. And this car organizer is the other one you want if you have kids! It hold all of their games, drinks, snacks, and dvds! I have both of these and I've never felt so organized and at peace riding in my car haha!

This swimsuit is super flattering and the material is amazing. It seriously feels like an expensive designer suit, but it's under $70! And if you're a fan of the high-neck swimsuit, make sure you check this one out as well, it's by the same brand and under $70 as well.

This stuff is SO good. My hair is such a hot mess, and needs all the help / protectant it can get from heat. I love that this spray doesn't weigh your hair down, and that it also gives you a shiny finish after flat ironing.

I finally found some nice, beautiful decorative boxes for a really great price! I mean, don't get me wrong...I want each and every one that Studio McGee has in her shop, but man, they are expensive. These are great to put on your nightstand to hold your glasses, extra change, chapstick, etc. I also ordered this striped rectangle box to hold the remotes in our living room.

I'll never forget the first time I saw a pair of Crocks. I immediately thought, "Man, those are so ugly...and I'm never buying them for my kids. Well, fast forward about six years and they finally came out with some cute styles and colors! Between these and Natives, well, that's basically all Taylor wears.

Pretty much the cutest thing I've ever seen. I bought this for Taylor for her birthday and she has played with it non-stop!
