Life Lately + Holiday Dresses (size / fit info included)

// Yesterday I finally tackled our laundry/mudroom! I mean, how the hell do things get so unorganized and so freaking messy so fast!!! After folding all of our laundry, putting all the jackets away, and organizing the shoe drawer I decided to go ahead and throw some Christmas decorations in there. And y'all, it was an instant mood lifter...the clean and organized part along with the Christmas decor part!

Here's a little before ...

And here's the after....

And I had so many questions on Instagram about the chalkboard and decor that I linked it all below for you guys.

Chalkboard // Gold Ball Lights // Cordless Garland // Gold Basket  Acrylic Dog Bowl Holder sold out at Frontgate, but I found a cheaper version here

// Last Friday, this little lady got a much needed haircut. Taylor's hair is very fine, but there is a lot of it and every morning when she wakes up it is full of tangles and knots! And trust me, I have tried SO many different products to help with this and nothing seems to work, but when we cut her hair shorter it's more manageable, plus, I think it looks really cute :)

// On Saturday, Todd took Taylor on a daddy/daughter date while I took Carson on a mother/son date. Todd and I have decided to try this once a month to spend some one on one with each of them and let them choose where they would like to go. Taylor chose the pet store and Sky Zone while Carson chose to go see Thor at the movie theater.

Thor was really good, but it was also really long. Thank goodness Chris Hemsworth was front and center the entire time...haha!! And of course, you know we had to get the souvenir popcorn and cup to take home :)

// This silly girl is always trying to bring home a new pet! #helltotheno

Todd said that he and Taylor had a blast! And I thought it was pretty sweet when he told he bought the socks and jumped with her, especially after he mentioned there were tv's with football on in the adult section.

// Saturday evening, we had a few of our neighbors over for a make your own pizza night. Everyone put whatever sauce and toppings they wanted on their pizza and then Todd tossed them on the grill. Super easy and also super yummy! The Italian sausage and sautéed mushrooms aren't in the picture because they were still cooking when I snapped this picture :)

And now for some holiday dress ideas! I ordered all of these dresses last week in hopes that one of them would work for our Christmas card pictures that we are taking this Sunday. I'm still on the fence about two of them, but I have a few more options arriving tomorrow. If any of them are keepers I'll be sure to share them with you all as well. Being that all of these dresses would be wonderful for holiday parties and/or a winter wedding, I wanted to give you all the details in case you liked any of them.

Dress runs tts and I'm wearing the 2p.

Dress runs small and I'm wearing the 2p, but I need the 4p. Runs snug through the arms and the bust.

I also tried on this dress and loved it, but it was a little too big and I totally forgot to snap a picture in it. I think this dress would be great for almost any event or to wear to church or out to dinner. Plus, for this brand it is a great price!
