A Recipe and Shoes...........

Seriously I just made the best salad ever. Granted, I love a bean but this one is bursting with all kinds of flavor.

Cucumber Black-Eyed Pea Salad



  • 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh oregano, or 1 teaspoon dried
  • Freshly ground pepper to taste
  • 4 cups peeled and diced cucumbers
  • 1 14-ounce can black-eyed peas, rinsed
  • 2/3 cup diced red bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup slivered red onion
  • 2 tablespoons chopped black olives
  • ( I used fresh avocado instead of olives)



And can we talk about these new tiny Botas.

I know I am a little bias but how stinking cute do they look on my little man?
I promise he was not mad, we told him to give us his serious face ha!
 Go get the little person in your life some here.
(as far as sizing goes they are pretty tts, Carsons are a size 10 and he still a some room).
